The Entity Extraction tool helps you analyze content and identify important entities (keywords, phrases, names, etc.) from various sources. It uses advanced natural language processing (paid API) to extract and rank entities based on their relevance and occurrence patterns.

How to Use

1. Starting a New Analysis


Basic Setup


  • Navigate to the Entity Extraction tool
  • Enter an Analysis Name (this helps you track your analyses)
  • Choose your content source:
    • SERP (Search Engine Results)
    • URLs (Multiple webpage analysis)
    • Custom Text (Direct text analysis)


Language and Region Selection


  • Choose from 25+ supported languages
  • Select target region (especially important for SERP analysis)

2. Content Input Methods


SERP Analysis (2 AW Tokens)


  1. Select "Get Content from SERP"
  2. Enter your main keyword
  3. Choose your target region & language
  4. System will analyze top search results (up to 6 URLs)

URL Analysis (2 AW Tokens)


  1. Select "Get Content from URLs"
  2. Enter up to 6 URLs (one per line)
  3. Choose your language
  4. System will scrape and analyze content from each URL

Custom Text Analysis (1 AW Token)


  1. Select "Custom Text"
  2. Paste your content (up to 20,000 characters)
  3. Choose your language
  4. System will analyze the provided text directly

3. Understanding Results


Entity Categories


  • Priority Entities (Green): Relevance score ≥ 0.9
    • Highest importance entities
    • Most relevant to your content
  • Important Entities (Orange): Relevance score 0.6-0.9
    • Secondary importance
    • Strongly related to your content
  • Supportive Entities (Red): Relevance score 0.3-0.6
    • Tertiary importance
    • Related but less crucial

Entity Information Format


entity_name number_of_sites/min_occurrences–max_occurrences


Example: criminal defense lawyer 6/2-17


  • Appears on 6 different sites
  • Minimum 2 occurrences on any site
  • Maximum 17 occurrences on any site


4. Managing Results


Export Options


  • Export to CSV: Download complete analysis data
  • Copy Options:
    • Copy Priority: Only high-relevance entities
    • Copy Important: Only important entities
    • Copy All: Complete entity list


Viewing History

  1. Access the Entity Extraction History page
  2. View all past analyses
  3. Filter by analysis name
  4. Delete unwanted analyses
  5. Click on any analysis name to view full details


5. Comparing with URLs


URL Comparison Feature


After completing an analysis, you can compare your results against any specific URL to identify:

  • Missing entities (entities found in your analysis but missing from the URL)
  • Additional entities (entities found in the URL but not in your analysis)


How to Compare


  • After analysis completion, locate the "Compare with URL" section
  • Enter the target URL you want to compare against
  • Click "Compare" to start the comparison

Note: The comparison feature helps identify content opportunities and gaps in your target URL's coverage of important entities

  • SERP Analysis: 2 AW Tokens
  • URL Analysis: 2 AW Tokens
  • Custom Text Analysis: 1 AW Token


Tips


  1. Always name your analyses descriptively for easy reference
  2. For SERP analysis, use specific keywords for better results
  3. When using URLs, ensure they're accessible and contain relevant content
  4. Use the region selection carefully for SERP analysis to target specific markets
  5. Regular cleanup of old analyses helps maintain organization


Troubleshooting


  • If analysis fails, check content length and URL accessibility
  • Ensure you have sufficient AW Tokens
  • For best results, use clean URLs without tracking parameters
  • If entities aren't appearing, try adjusting your content or using a different source
