Audit & Optimization

G-Smart Optimizer is designed to enhance content quality by aligning it with Google's Search Quality Rater and Helpful Content Guidelines. 

This feature follows a three-step process: analyzing your content against quality benchmarks, implementing strategic improvements, and verifying enhancements through comparative analysis.

It helps resolve common content issues such as:

• Lack of E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness)
• Achieve information gain by covering related topics not in the original article
• Inconsistent point of view
• Excessive pronoun usage
• Lack of context or supporting information
• Unclear transitions between topics
• Structural and flow problems

• 🎁 This is a bonus feature added to fine-tune your articles and improve overall content quality.
• 🚨 This feature is only available for articles created after the release of the Audit & Optimization feature. It cannot be applied to existing articles generated before this feature was introduced.
• 🚫 No refund or rerun is available if the optimized output is worse than expected.
• 🔄 If unsatisfied, you can always revert to the original version in the Revision Tab.
• The audit report includes actionable recommendations to enhance content quality. These recommendations may suggest adding images, videos, or other media to improve engagement and authority. However, optimizations are applied only to text, so users should manually incorporate suggested visual elements where applicable.

• 1-click articles.
• Product descriptions.
• Content refiner articles.

• Best for articles under 2,500 words.
• English content gets the best result. (Arabic & Hebrew languages are not supported).

Generation Rules

• Every trigger generates two versions: Enhance Mode & Extensive Mode.
• Review and choose your desired version based on your needs.
• Non-premium AI models (GPT-3.5, GPT-4o-mini, Gemini Flash 2.0) will only generate Enhance Mode in each article.
• Research Mode only available via G-Smart Optimizer

Manual Activation

1. Navigate to the article details page.
2. Click the "Audit & Optimize" button. One free audit & optimization is available per Agility Writer's article for those created from Feb 18, 2025.
3. The button is only available for articles created after the release of the Audit & Optimization feature
4. Wait 3-5 minutes for processing.
5. Review the results in the Audit and Revision tabs.

Automatic Activation

1. Access Project Settings

• Go to the "Project" menu.
• Select an existing project or create a new one.
• Locate the "Audit & Optimize" settings.

2. Choose Automation Level

You can select from three options:

• Manual (No Auto Audit/Optimize) - Default option

  • No automatic processing.
  • Requires manual activation.
  • Best for selective optimization.

• Run Audit & Optimize (No Update)

  • Automatically runs the analysis.
  • Generates optimization suggestions.
  • Keeps the original content unchanged.
  • Allows manual review before applying changes.

• Run Audit, Optimize & Update

  • Fully automated process.
  • Applies optimizations automatically.
  • Updates the article with the improved version.
  • Ideal for bulk content optimization.

• Save project settings.
• Select the project when creating articles.
• The system will automatically apply the chosen settings.
• Important: Ensure you enter the Author/Business Background for the best result in the E-E-A-T section.

Activation via G-Smart Optimizer

This feature allows you to audit and optimize external content or apply additional optimizations to existing Agility Writer articles.

1. Navigate to the Tools -> G-Smart Optimizer page.
2. Enter the article title and body content. 
• For the best results, keep articles within 2,500 words, with a maximum limit of 5,000 words
3. Configure the necessary core settings (See below for research options).
4. Provide background information to enhance the article's authority and credibility. The system will also use the author's background from your project to refine the content.
5. Click the "Add to Audit & Optimize Queue" button.
6. Wait 3-5 minutes for processing.
7. Review the results in the Audit and Revision tabs of the article details.

• Performs more extensive searching
• Returns more citation links and references
• Creates more comprehensive and authoritative content

• Toggle to display citation numbers and reference links in your content

2. Cite Number URL & Cite Links - Rel Attribute (Optional) 

• To change the citation number URL from a relative URL to an absolute URL, enter your article URL here.If you're using the copy/paste method to publish your article, the citation number's URL may include AgilityWriter.ai. 
• To avoid this, use the WordPress Integration. If you still prefer to use copy/paste, enter the absolute URL here.

Pro Tip: If manual activation is already done, click the "G-Smart Optimizer" button under the article details to automatically transfer the content to G-Smart Optimizer for further auditing & optimization.

Audit Tab

• Displays content quality scores.
• Provides a detailed analysis.
• Offers recommendations for improvement.
• Allows comparison between Enhance and Extensive modes.

Revision Tab

1. Version Comparison

• Side-by-side view of different versions.
• Highlights changes made.
• Enables before/after analysis.
• Tracks content differences.

• Switch between different versions.
• Preview changes before applying.
• Select the preferred version.
• Restore the original version if needed.

• Use manual optimization instead.
• Check the article details. If automation fails, the "Audit & Optimize" button will be available for manual activation.

• Carefully review the changes made.
• Consider keeping the original version if necessary.
• Check for areas where modifications may have affected keyword density or structure.

Q: Can I optimize the same article multiple times?
A: No, due to high API costs, each article can only be optimized once.

Q: What if I'm not satisfied with the optimization?
A: You can revert to the original version anytime through the Revision tab.

Q: Does this work with non-English content?
A: Yes, but the best results are achieved with English content.

Q: How long does the optimization process take?
A: Typically 3-5 minutes, but longer for large articles.

Q: Can I edit the optimized content?
A: Yes, you can manually edit any version using the Smart Editor.

Q: Why might my optimization score be lower than expected?
A: Scores may decrease if:

• The original content was already well-optimized.
• The article has a highly specialized structure.
• Technical terminology was modified.
• Keyword density was reduced due to readability improvements.
